Very caring and compassionate instructor who wants all students to do well. Grading consists of 6 group assignments (grading by peer reviews in your own group) with no homework or assigned readings. DO the work and contribute to the group assignments and you should get an easy A.

She is one of the best professors at UCSB. The lectures were a bit heavy but she posts the slides and gives you everything you need to succeed. I would take her classes again and again and again and again.

Prof King was more than gracious when teaching the known "weeder" class of the pre-comm series. She is very passionate about communication and I appreciate her efforts in making a summer class very light-hearted. 10/10 would take her again!

Took her class over the summer; lectures were fun, and she's passionate about the subject. She has experience with editing and provides really good feedback on your writing. A bit of an easy grader, which I'm not really sure if that's a good thing or not.

I wasn't sure if she would be good because she had no reviews, but by far she is one of the best comm professors in the department. She's very understanding and flexible if you need to adjust something. I took her course over the summer and there were no exams, just small projects where you get hands-on experience! I Highly recommend her classes!
