Her lectures are very well structured and easy to follow. She is good at using Canvas and transforming it into a helpful resource for students.

the class itself is not very fulfilling, but kristen is great. she gives very helpful feedback and is super open with the projects. im the type of person who can take criticism to heart, but she gave it in a way that was understandable and actually helped me a lot. writ2 is an easy class thats not very interesting, but she makes it more enjoyable

Kristen was by far my favorite professor this quarter, she hosted one-on-one meetings to give feedback on projects and provided detailed suggestions to improve writing. She understands students and is very caring!

She's really understanding and super flexible. I couldn't have asked for a better teacher. She actually cares her students and their education. She's relatable. The work is fairly easy and she explains the instructions well. The writing assignments don't feel overwhelming. It's a fair amount of reading though. She's the best, need I say more

I took this class during Summer '21 and it was online due to the pandemic. The class was well crafted, however, and Professor McGill was very accessible. She grades based on completion for most project minus the presentation and essay at the end - so for most projects, as long as you complete it, you'll get full credit. Highly suggest you take her

Took this course in Spring 2021. Prof. uses contract grading: B- is promised if u submit all works on time. But anything above that is subjective to the professor. She is very caring and gives good feedback. Get ready to read and write a lot. Need to cite readings from class in the 2 writing projects and 1 cover letter. Writing will improve a lot.
