Brendan was a great lecturer, he is very knowledgeable about many topics and is great at answering questions. There are 2 projects instead of a midterm and 2 pop quizzes, so beware. The readings were short but many, some of them were also very difficult to read. He requires attendance the first few weeks.

Not the worst professor I've had but he lectured much slower than I could read his slides and so disliked mandatory attendance. He uses an online system instead of iclicker so it can be done remotely. Beyond that I didn't like the projects and couldn't figure out how to make them as long as they wanted without fluff. It was interesting overall.

Barnwell overall is a pretty good professor, and he's very straightforward. His tests are fair, if you study the information on the slides you'll be fine since he includes very detailed information (you do have to put in the work tho). The only downside I would say is that he lectures a bit fast, so make sure you're able to take notes efficiently!
