Doesn't curve tests and 75% of your grade is on 6 tests. On top of that, really difficult problems and homework. He doesn't know how to lecture to undergraduates and leaves out topics based on how much he likes them. Didn't cover determinants until after they were useful. Avoid for a summer math course, and be prepared to self teach.
He doesnt know how to teach undergrad students. Left determinant till week 5 only because he hates determinants. Impossible to understand linear algebra in 6 weeks in trisals class and his hw is extremely HARD.
Prof. Trisal is straight to the point when teaching new materials, which is what I liked about him. He responds email almost immediately (compare to other professors). However, he can be a picky grader sometimes and It was extremely difficult to read his handwriting in class. Overall, he's a solid choice to to pick for summer math courses.
Studying by yourself and looking at Linear Algebra textbook are the keys to get a great score. He made bonus points on tests. If you solve them, you get an A+.
One of the worst professors I've taken for math. I've taken other math courses here but this has to be one of the worst. His homework has nothing to do with his lectures whatsoever and realistically the only hope is by self-learning as much as you can and going to clas because realistically the tutor should be the instructor.
