I love Prof. Feiz! She is so sweet and caring. I am a heritage Farsi Speaker but never knew how to read and write, but taking the series of 58A-F has changed my life. I know so much more about my own heritage and culture just by virtue of taking classes with Aazam. Take her if you can!

Words can't describe how awesome she is. Really makes you excited to learn about the language and culture of Iran. Will sometimes randomly tell you about crazy laws and practices in other countries or news stories you've never heard of, and it's always interesting. Cares deeply about helping you learn, and she's happy to help you when you need it.

Absolutely amazing professor. I had her for multiple classes and I love how much she cares about each student. Honestly, even though she doesn't tach my major and I took the classes to be more in touch with my Persian heritage, I would always take the higher level Persian class and accidentally got a minor in it because of how compelling she is.

Professor Feiz is one of the best professors I have ever had at UCSB. She is very caring about her students and does the best to help all students learn. She is a great lecturer and provides great feedback also. Very kind and willing to help. She is very easygoing and understanding, take as many classes with her as you can you won't regret it.

I highly recommend taking any and all of the classes she offers! She makes learning Farsi and about the Persian culture so fun and engaging. Pay attention in class and stay on top of your assignments.

She is the most accommodating and helpful professor I've had. I have actually come out with a solid grasp of Persian, and the framework necessary to continue learning the language. I would recommend to everyone.

Aazam has been my favorite professor at UCSB. She cares for each and every student in her class and works one on one with each of them to ensure they succeed. She goes above and beyond in making sure you do well in her class and loves the material she teaches. Homework and (two) quizzes are super manageable and she is eager to help you with them.

Highly recommend taking 57A with Aazam. She is the most understanding, caring, and patient professor ever. Weekly homework, midterm, and final - super easy if you attend lectures and practice/participate during lectures.

Loved Aazam. She's the most caring professor and will not continue with the material until everyone has reached a good understanding of what she is teaching. She treats her students as if they are her own children and is willing to work with students on the workload if it can get heavy (99% of the time it isn't though).

She really cares about her students and wants them to do their best in her classes. I've taken her for 3 classes now and she is really amazing. Highly recommend!!

I love Dr. Feiz, she is so awesome and such a caring, wonderful professor; she literally is a genius, and she answers every question perfectly. She is a wonderful person with a big heart, and I've loved all the classes I've taken with her. Can't recommend enough, best professor in UCSB. Actually best professor ever.
