The most chill professor I have had at Westmont. He is super understanding and personable and loves his students. It might get a little boring sometimes during his lectures, but he has some fun class lessons with games throughout the semester.

I have taken many writing courses at UCSB, and Minor's class is definitely the best among them. This man is a caring, helpful, and skillful instructor. He introduces influential definitions of genres, rhetoric, and logic within the writing class. The assignments might be complicated, but his grading is extremely generous.

Highly recommend Prof Minor, he was engaging with the material and encouraged participation and discussion. He's available to meet outside of class for any extra help. Class wasn't crazy difficult, as long as you put in the work and meet the requirements you should be fine. Very nice/accommodating and one of the better profs during the pandemic

Prof Minor is a really kind professor. His activities are fun, and the readings are very useful. His lectures are clear and fun to watch, and he is always willing to help students. His instructions are clear and easy to follow. He makes sure students know where to improve in their paper.

I love this man. If you have the chance to take this class take it. Im a freshman at UCSB and this is the only teacher who I feel genuinely cares about his students. He also finds ways to make class interesting and fun. And he has great music taste. He's so cool everyone take his class now. He gives you the grade you deserve and gives actual feedba

An amazing T.A. for writing 2. Would definitely take again. He made the seemingly boring critera super helpful and it really improved my writing. Ryan is the best!
