You do need to go to the majority of the lectures, but she is really good at explaining music concepts to people who have never interacted with music before. You might find the class a bit boring if you are already proficient in reading music, so up to you if you still want that easy A. There were weekly homework assignments but they were v easy.

This is kind of an unfair review because I didn't stick around for the class, but this professor seems a bit strict. If you want to save yourself the trouble of feeling like you're in high school again, you shouldn't enroll in her class. It's also extremely time consuming: weekly quizzes/hw/mandatory attendance. I know nothing about her teaching.
