The best professor at UCSB in my opinion. She really wants you to do well and she is such a sweet woman. Tests were a little difficult but she offers a lot of extra credit and opportunities for points in order to raise your grade. If you put in the work you will do well. Please take this class and get to know her she is amazing!!

She talks really fast but her slides are online so it's no big deal. The class itself is just really boring and she doesn't make it very engaging. Test questions are usually exact or very similar to the iclicker questions/weekly quizzes/labs so you know what to expect.

Dottie is a really sweet woman. She lectures very very fast, but posts everything online so you dont have to worry about copying everything down. Participation comes from iclicker q's. I took this as a GE and found it fairly easy. She offers extra credit opportunities every week of the quarter. Labs are super boring unless you enjoy oceanography
