He is patient, inspirational and amazing in teaching. Give pertinent scores on writing and speaking tests. Would definitely take again!!
Jordan is an amazing professor. I took French 154G/ C Lit 171 over the summer.I learned a lot from them and enjoyed their class.
Jordan was an amazing professor who valued and cared about their students. They demonstrated deep respect for students in their class, and was very clear about grading and expectations. I really recommend taking a class taught by them if you have the chance.
I loved taking this class with Jordan! Grading consisted of participation (30%), weekly discussion forums (10%), paper #1 (15%), paper #2 (20%), and final exam (25%). The course material was really unique and interesting. Jordan did a great job connecting course material with readings and larger concepts. One of my favorite classes taken at UCSB.
I took literary approaches to trauma with Jordan this past summer. They are an amazing professor and I would absolutely recommend them to anyone thinking of taking any class with them. One of the best classes Ive taken at UCSB and Ive taken some great courses here.
Easily one of my favorite professors at UCSB. The class was a very nice mixture of literature and history, and Jordan presented the difficult topics in a very respectful manner. I thought a 2 hour 10 minute class would be awful, but Jordan made it almost fun. Definitely take any class you can with them.
Jordan is amazing! I really didn't want to take C LIT 30B (I needed it for GE) but I have zero regrets! Jordan made the class fun and engaging even with it being a 9am section and was about Renaissance lit. Jordan's the best at making old things relatable and explain complicated concepts very clearly. If you need a TA for a lit class, pick Jordan!
Jordan is great, I had him for French 2, and decided to do French 3 cos he was teaching it. Go to lectures cos they really help understand the book. He doesnt mind when students use the ebook during class which is great because the actual textbook is expensive. He is not a tough grader and is always available to meet outside class.
M. Tudisco was by far the best French teacher I have had at UCSB! His lectures are extremely clear and he is well organised. He is a native speaker of French and was able to give a lot of insight to various cultural aspects that I havent received from any other prof. 10/10 would recommend!
