I don't understand why she makes quizzes so hard for no reason and her lectures are so boring and she makes quizzes make up a majority of your grades. Classes are boring and not dedicated or understanding at all.

I was very excited to take this class and I definitely thought it was going to be interesting, but I was very wrong. The class material isn't hard, but she just isn't the best professor. She is not clear with the questions she provides on the quizzes or with lectures in general. Attendance is mandatory. It's very easy to get annoyed of her.

I thought this class would be easy, but I was wrong. There are multiple difficult pop quizzes, pay attention in lecture. You also have to go to multiple concerts. I suggest writing the extra credit reports. You have to write weekly reports on assigned reading, but you can just skim it. There is also a paper due at the end. High quality is expected.

Professor Choi is great! She does a fantastic job at creating class discussion during lectures which helps make things engaging and interesting. MUS114 is definitely a class everyone should take. This class is easily my favorite I've taken thus far! Really opens your perspective on Pop culture and you get to listen to great music for HW!
