I took this her for ENG 010 at a different university. She can be a tough grader at times, but her standards are very clear and she provides examples of what she looks for. She's very understanding and will let you take mental health days off. I hate(d) english as a subject but she's so passionate about it that i enjoyed her class overall!

I absolutely love Felicia. I have had some great professors, but she is amazing. She is really thoughtful and her classes are deep and inspirational. She wants you to do well and she really cares about each of her students. I would recommend her class to anyone and everyone! Get to know her, she will help you and mentor you.

This class was AMAZING!! I had never taken an English class like this before. She is very passionate about American Indian and Indigenous Studies. Professor Lopez really cares about her students and wants them to succeed. We need more professors like her on this campus. I definitely recommend taking a class with her it's an amazing experience.

Felicia loves to educate. She is passionate and knows so much! Her personal views fuel her teachings which can cause controversy but she doesn't shy away from it or punish you for it. She cares about involvement and reading/writing dedication. I would recommend her if you at all want to know more about the reality of indigenous studies on campus!

P. Lopez was one of my last professors as college undergraduate and I could not have been happier for it! She has reasonable readings (a little under the average I'd say); provides engaging and informative lectures; and obviously cares about all of her students. P. Lopez is extremely easy to talk to. She even helped me with scheduling problems.

Felicia is amazing! She is not only super invested in her work but also wants her students to get the most from her teachings. Although she gives weekly quizzes, if you do the reading and pay attention in class they will not be difficult at all. Felicia wants you to succeed and will help you in literally any way that she can. She's a hidden gem!

Professor Lopez is hands down one of the best professors at UCSB. The passion that she teaches with is mesmerizing. Every lecture was amazing. She is always willing to help out her students and clearly explains what she expects. Lots of reading but it's manageable and interesting. Study and you will have no problem passing this class.

Dr. Lopez is downright amazing! She has the utmost passion and understanding for her topics. Course material, quizzes, and essays are spread very evenly throughout the quarter and the assignments are engaging and truly where I learned a lot about myself and the topic at hand. Her feedback is always very helpful and she's always there to help.

By far one of the most interesting courses I have ever taken. She is really passionate about the subject and explains everything in a way that is easy to understand. The course does have a lot of reading, but manageable. She is willing to work with you on the papers and on the readings if something isn't clear. Definitely recommend her class!

Awesome teacher, TAKE HER CLASSES! She is super knowledgable and cares about her subject a lot. Really interesting material, I learned so much. There is a LOT of reading but it is doable. She gives a ton of feedback on the assigned papers so you are able to do well. If you put in work, you can do well in the class. Extra credit is available!
