One of my favorite teachers and classes thus far. Sengupta is brilliant and very friendly. The homework is heavy but the tests were alright. Got a full piece of paper as a cheat sheet on the midterm and all of his lecture notes (90+ pages) on the final.

Sucked at first; was clearly brilliant at stats, but not at lecturing. Gave ridiculous HW with long linear algebra proofs/derivations. The class reviewed him after the midterm and boy, did things change. HW became more programming based (as it should have been). Even posted full lecture notes, which we were allowed to use on the final. Fair class.

I've never been so lost in a class in my life. He simply lectures continuously and you don't know where he pulls any of the material he is lecturing on. He also has a heavy accent and he writes so fricking small.
