I never went to class because he posted the slides online and the lectures were basically just him asking people what they thought of what he was teaching. When I took his class he was a graduate student, not an actual professor, so, if that matters to you, there you go. I enjoyed his views of society and the class was really easy to understand

John is clearly passionate about philosophy and makes lecture worth attending. Overall, if you put in the time, you'll get a good grade. He's also very helpful and willing to accommodate to student's needs. I would definitely take another class with him.

Caravello was a great professor for Phil 1. Really chill guy. Very willing to help if you had questions about course material. 2 papers and a final exam (short answers & essay questions). They were all pretty easy if you kept up to date with material, or at least read it when the time came to. Good discussion topics in class. Overall, great class!
