A whole semester only have a few assignments. Excellent professor with understanding for different individuals in class. He's alway being reasonable and patient for students. And there's a lot of extra credits. I will absolutely take his class again! Highly recommend!

Randy was my TA for MUS17 which was taught by Philip Murphy. The midterm and the final both have a listening portion, so make sure you take notes on what Randy says about the songs he plays in each class. The other portion of the midterm/final is an essay, which they give you ahead of time. Easy A, if you do some work. there's also one paper.

I took music and pop culture thinking it would be easy, and I was kinda wrong. While the class wasn't HARD, it was definitely not an easy A. You HAVE to do the readings-they're crucial to getting a good grade because there are 6 quizzes in the class. But material is interesting and teacher is AMAZING! Fun class and a LOT of work, but well worth it!
