Paddy is awesome. He is by far the best professor I have ever had. He is not condescending at all, and he will slow down his lecture if you do not understand what is going on. He is incredibly helpful and will walk you through a concept until you understand it. Not only that, but he's also hilarious and makes delicious pancakes at office hours!

For CCS math, Paddy is the man. Not only can he deliver the content well to students, he also connects with them on a one-on-one level. He clearly cares about students, and is very understanding. Best instructorprofessor I've ever had. Lucky for me, this will not be my last quarter with him!!

Paddy is such a wonderful professor. He gives great lectures and problems that really helped me grow as a math student, he's really helpful when you have a question, he has pancake office hours on Saturdays, and he is a fountain of wisdom on nearly every topic imaginable. #GivePaddyARaise

Honestly the greatest teacher I've ever had in my life. Brilliant, funny, understanding and helpful. Once you go Padriac, you never go back.

Great instructor who clearly cared about the material and its applications, and also really cared about our general interest of the material. It was unfortunate that my class wasn't as motivated by the material as he tried to make us, but easily the most enjoyable upper-div math I've had

Paddy is the hottest professor at UCSB. I am obsessed with him and he's very helpful -- by far my favorite professor.

I can't give a very accurate representation of Paddy's more academic courses, but for the honors calculus seminar, he was an excellent teacher, and felt that as long as you put forth effort, for a 1 unit class, you should get the grade you want.
