I just applied to 8 grad schools and this Professor was supporting in writing all letters and helping me with revising my statements. I had him in a big class in 2015 and he was still willing to help after he suggested that we have a few phone convos to help him know me better for letters. I don't know any other Professor that would do that.

I dont know why UCSB don't keep him here, he was the most exciting professor I had and he cared about us getting it. His lectures were packed and always entertaining and very funny and we can learn with that good.

Had Corpuz for developmental and it was the best course I took here. The grade you get is what you earn. No tricks and he's a very good presenter that time flies. There were readings that were not on the exam but not too bad

Come back Dr. Corpuz!!!! My favorite professor at UCSB. The human relationships class I took with him was incredible and I am not exagerating, you can ask anyone in that class. I really wish he was teaching more classes here before i graduate. (

He made a huge impact on me after taking his class. I never thought I would like psych this much, but the evolutionary psychology approach that Dr. Corpuz took with this class completely captured me. He uses really great examples and his slides are amazing. Quizzes are easy if you read but the exams are pretty tough. DO NOT MISS CLASS!

One of the best teachers here!!!! He makes the class very fun. His tests were challenging for me but some people aced it. Some difficult stuff but makes the class fun!!!! Take Him

LOVE. It is nuts how far and beyond his teaching is compared to the others at UCSB. He needs to teach a class on how to teach. Truly enjoyed his 143 and I was actually sad to see it end. He's so supportive and really cares about students understanding some (my opinion) difficult bioevo stuff.

Sit back and enjoy the show. Wow. What a great professor from start to finish. The material is difficult but you somehow leave and you understand it. He's def a unique guy. He can get on a roll and lecture starts to feel like TED talk where the slides are not even needed (so cool to see). Def don't miss lectures and you'll do well.

Corpuz was the best teacher I ever had. His funny lectures and examples really helped the material stick. The online quizzes helped bolster my grade as well, not that his midterm and finals were difficult. One of those classes where even though going to class was mandatory to pass, I didn't mind going to class. Thank you Corpuz for being amazing!

By far, BEST PSYCH PROFESSOR I've had at UCSB! Corpuz is clearly very intelligent, as well as engaging, and hilarious! 143 (Human Relationships) was a fun class, and Corpuz makes you want to attend every lecture, as makes the information accessible and relatable through his teaching style. Prepare for Beyonce references and a bio-evolutionary style

Dr Corpuz is such a unique presenter and he's very smart (&super cute). He has a blast teaching and its contagious. Material is easy to follow even though, theres wayyyyyy more bio then I planned on. Most days he teaches using a funny story about him or he asks class for volunteers of stories. helps the material stick forever. genius!

His classes are so much fun! I had him for a few psych classes and his teaching style is really what makes the every class stand out in my head. The material on paper is so-so but when he talks about it, very easy to get excited about it. Very organized and clear. LOVED all the classes I took with him.
