Ms. Dyste is an amazing teacher. The other reviewer's claims couldn't be more wrong! Ms. Dyste assigned great articles that did discuss many scientific and theoretical ideas that helped shape the formation of gender & race and their relationship to culture and technology. LOVED this class! One of my faves in Anth bc of its relevance to real life.

Easy class, worthless subject. The hard part is trying not to cringe as she displays her scientific illiteracy whenever she feels the need to deny the fact that there are biological differences between men and women. Also the entire class is focused on how technology is used to exploit minorities. I guess that's all "the patriarchy" made it for.
