Dan is a great professor and very easy to get along with. He gives clear instruction and is willing to help you every step of the way. That being said, as with most other WRIT-150 professors, his grading is tough and you will have to work hard for a good grade. Would def take again.

I absolutely loved this class and Dan! Though I hate writing, I found myself really enjoying his class and doing well on all the assignments. There are 3 writing assignments and nothing else. The class culminates with a 20 page research paper, but don't be afraid! He helps you every step of the way and is funny while doing so! Love him!

Excellent writing course. Dan is very clear and informative when instructing. However, it is nearly impossible to get an A with Dan. Writing 1 is a mandatory class that you must take letter-graded. It isn't worth the B to take it with him.

Straight forward course. Classes are somewhat dull, but he is helpful in office hours. Easy grader and really helped improve my writing. Paper topics were broad and allowed me to begin work on my thesis

He is a cool teacher. Hard grader for sure. But my writing improved, and he is so sweet. He knows that if you work hard, he will definitely make sure that you do well in the class.

Great instructor. Was always motivated to attend class.
