Prof Rone! what can i say this guy is amazing ! he truly makes you want to keep going in life. he's a true inspiration. never be afraid to ask for help as he will break it down for you. i would honestly take it him again. *Gentle Snowflakes* best professor very helpful. i can thank him for future success.

Vince is truly a great teacher! He is always open to help you when you are struggling and gives excellent feed back on papers. He plays awesome music and is kind of sarcastic but you get used to it. haha. He referred to our class as 'Gentle Snowflakes' but I don't know why...ALSO don't forget to bring two drafts on RR day!!!!!!

Vince had quite the personality. You could tell that he was passionate about both playing, studying, and teaching music. Textbook was not mandatory, but listening homework made me want to fall asleep. Lectures seemed endless at times, but his jokes kept me entertained for the most part. There were very difficult listening questions on tests/quizzes

THE BEST Professor EVER! He makes you want to attend lecture, tests are fair, and he is simply a great guy and teacher. It is unfortunate he will not be teaching this class anymore but go meet him because he is incredble! I wish every subject was taught by him!!!!

Incredibly funny teacher, his impressions were awesome. Very clear in his lessons and never left anyone behind (would wait for everyone to finish taking notes). Maybe the most passionate Professor I've had about his subject. Really nice in person too. I highly recommend taking him for any class really. Although very critical with papers, be careful

HE'S SO FUNNY! Don't you want to be called a snowflake every lecture? super interesting lecture and the essays and tests were SO EASY. just listen to the music and you will get an A. it's not that hard to listen to a CD!

Hands down best professor I've had in my 3 years so far at UCSB. Entertaining, funny, lively, and passionate about music. Never wanted to miss a lecture as they were almost never boring. Walked away with a lot of knowledge at the end of the quarter.

One of the best teachers I've ever had. Fun, entertaining, lively, grabs and keeps your attention, funny, and anything and everything else you could want in a teacher. He's great, the class is great, and I honestly wish that I could take the class over again, it was that mindblowingly awesome.

BEST class ever! Rone is amazing- I had no interest and no knowledge of classical music, and I ended up looking forward to his lectures and class. Incredibly helpful with email, office hours. Lectures are clear and entertaining. He makes jokes and makes the class incredibly entertaining. Called us gentle snowflakes and made us laugh each lecture.
