Don't take her if your major isn't anthropology. She gives way too much reading and way to many lecture recordings. Ive taken many online classes and none have been as work heavy as hers. Im not sure she understands that many of us are enrolled in other classes & have jobs. Would love it if she would keeps students time into consideration. - CSUCI

Prof Kuzminsky has taught three of my upper division anthropology courses and helped me pursue work in a lab. She explains concepts well, reviews material, and is very straight forward. She is very approachable and willing to help students. She has been by far my favorite and most inspirational professors in my college career.

Prof Kuzminsky is amazing. She's like a movie hero archaeologist, she's a deepwater diver because most of the paleoindian sites on the pacific coast are underwater. She really cares about her students and knows her subject. Do be prepared to read, since she teaches textbook-heavy, but she's amazing and you should take her courses if you can. 10/10

P. Kuzminsky is great professor. One of the best I've ever had, she's really nice and knows her subject through and through. I took Intro to Physical Anth with her and she specialises in Prehistoric Archaeology (which is what I want to pursue) and the peopling of the Americas and she spent a lot of time Neanderthals and offered a great perspective

I love Professor Kuzminski. Her courses are tough, but fair. If you want to do well, it will mean a lot of time with the textbooklecture attendance, but everything on the testassignments is explained clearly if you do the readingsattend lecture. Got a C on the midterm, went to office hours, she explained what I should do and got As consistently

Susan is challenging, she does put a lot of work on your shoulders. However, she does it because she's very passionate about the material. She's also approachable if you have questions and she wants you to have experiences that could help you in grad school. Of the grad students teaching Anth classes, Susan should definately teach again.
