Very nice and encourages discussion in class. The class is very easy, read a 100-200pg book each week and write a 1-page review on it.My beef is the class was a survey of Chic. lit.,yet most books were very feminist.Discussions were heavily slanted towards that view.It seemed like a narrow view and by the end of the quarter I wanted something else.

Professor Limon is one of the best ChSt professor's at UCSB!!! Her class is easy if you read her material. Most of her books are novels and are really interesting. Her lectures are interesting and you must participate. She grades the final and will give out final grades. No midterm, and you only need a 1page review per week. Great class. Easy A!!

Such a wonderful Professor. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND taking this class. If you put effort into the work you do you will get a good grade. The books and discussions were interesting which made for a great class. Take any class with her if you can!

Really nice, and pretty easy - just one typed page per week, no midterm, easy final.

Graciela Limon is a wonderful person and passionate professor! She is VERY approachable and really cares about what her students think about the course! We read a book every week, but the readings were simply amazing and only one or two were a a bit difficult to understand!!

Very easy class. She's really nice. Lectures can get rather boring, but not too bad. She'll love you if you participate.
