Pretty interesting class. Lots of reading and lots of books. Easy paper, a midterm, and pretty casual final. Do the readings and you'll be fine - I barely did them and managed to scrape a B+ out of the class.

I cannot recommend this professor enough. He is smart, entertaining, and he will really make you think! Coming to lecture was always a treat, definitely money well spent! Take his 185C class, and his sex, love and god class - both are fantastic! If I could take all my classes with this man, I would!

He is a very entertaining man. He is in the middle of writing his own book. the class i took him for was a special topics class during the summer titled sex love and god. there was a lot of reading but not all of it was neccessary if you went to class

Great teacher. Super interesting lectures. Class was lecture based with 2 tests. Easy short answer tests. If you didn't read you could easily get a B. I would recommend taking him!
