This is a wonderful class that EVERYONE should take! It has been the single most useful class I have taken at UCSB--and I'm a senior! If you want to learn how to project yourself in the professional world and LOOK GOOD, then take this class! Lily is a wonderful professor who wants to see us all succeed in life. We can learn a lot from her.

This class is extremely helpful for undergrads preparing for the job market. It includes a lot of busywork, but they're all practical assignments, like resumes and cover letters. There is a 7-page paper about how you ended up on your current career path. Her lecture style is very anecdotal - she shares a lot of success stories about past students.

CLASS IS CLEAR AND PRETTY USEFULL HOWEVER, THERE IN NO MIDTERM AND FINAL CAN BE PRETTY TRICKY. FILL IN THE BLANKS, MATCHING AND ESSAYS. JUST MAKE SURE YOU KNOW THE MATERIAL.

This class is a livesaver. Helps you prepare your resume and cover letter, how to nail an interview, how to figure out what you wanna be when you "grow up". Approachable and dynamic woman who truly wants you to succeed... utilize her! Take as a JR/SNR.
