Pax is a great teacher that's always excited to be in class. He really made the subject interesting and was open to everyone's opinions. He's a great professor.

My favorite professor that I have had in college and probably ever will have. I dreaded signing up for English and after having him, I am always excited to go! Always get's the class stimulated and likes everyone's opinions!

Best teacher ever! He's Super passionate and really gets you into the discussion. I like that he doesn't push his views on you but is open to your thoughts and opinions. I Love writing now after taking this class. If you have the chance to take him do it!!!

Super enthusiastic and really helpful when it comes to students' writing/improvement. He makes you actually want to participate in class because he respects and acknowledges everyone's analysis and opinions of the novels. Outside of class he is also an awesome guy and approachable. I would take a class taught by him again if possible.

Pax is a great TA/professor, he's passionate and very interesting. He does have his students do some busy work, but I believe it does help in the long run. It's easy to feel like he's your friend and I really loved the casual feel of the class. It also helps that all of his awesomeness is expressed in his boyish good looks.

Pax is absolutely amazing and unbelievably passionate about what he teaches. His lectures are always intriguing and I completely agree with the above assesment: he is delightfully eccentric. If you have the oppurtunity to take a class with him, do it! You will love every moment of it and will take away so much from it! He's also sexy as hell.

Truly inspiring. His discussions are always interesting and he is always open to new ideas. Not bad on the eyes either.

Delightfully eccentric. Really takes an interest in his subject and keeps the energy up for the whole class, and is always willing to help. He's amazing to just sit and chat with, so I highly recommend going to his office hours. He also just happens to be a sexy beast.

Honestly, Pax is just a great guy. He's definitely one of the best writing teachers I've ever had. He's really dedicated and really cares. If you have a chance to take him, DO IT!
