I've had Nandi as my professor at CSUCI.I really enjoyed her teaching structure and her enthusiasm. She taught Macro and brought a lot of real world examples to class. I learned a lot.

I completely disagree with the comments below. Nandi was always available to discuss material and mentor students, her tests were well structured. She gave us ample examples and practice problems and always mentioned what was relevant for a test. The final was pretty hard, but standard given the course.Overall she was a great professor.Stop hating!

The course consisted of 2 quizes (20% each) and a final (50%). The other 10% is based on attendance and participation. Although the class was challenging, she was extremely helpful in making sure you understood the material and adjusted the course based on student feedback. The only complaint I have is the communication between the TA and Nandi

Class consisted of 2 midterms (In section) each worth 20% and 1 final worth 50%, the remaining 10% of your grade is from class section participation and office hour visits. Her teaching style is much like a TA- using example problems and book examples, rarely anything conceptual. Her final was completely unfair and was nothing like the midterms.

This was the first time she had ever taught an actual class rather than be the TA. I guess I have to give her some slack, but she honestly repeated exactly what was in the book. Rather than focusing on theory she should have gave useful examples. Overall, the lectures were useless. Practicing multiple choice questions is a great way to study.

She is simply the best TA I have ever had ... she can easily teach the course herself and was always available to talk and answer problems...try to get in her section if you want to do well!!!
