She is what you call....AWESOME. she makes writing interesting and helps out in every way possible. She's funny and won't make you fall asleep. take her!!! I'm waiting a quarter just to have her again :D

Take this class with her! She is extremely funny and makes any topic more interesting, she can definitely get a laugh out of anyone with her sarcastic sense of humor. Definitely glad I took this instead of Writing 50!

Liberty was one of the best teachers I've had at UCSB. She understands students well, and doesn't overwhelm you with stupid little assignments. I really enjoyed this class, even though I wasn't a huge fan of writing before. If you have a choice, definitely choose her class

Really straight forward and as a grad student she understands stress etc, if you have any problems go to her early and she is very helpful.

Liberty is pretty easy and straightfoward. She offers plenty of help...not that you'll need it, however.

Liberty was helpful and understanding when it came to students. She's a little on the hippie side, but overall pretty nice and a good teacher.
