Ouch! She wasn't THAT bad...her slides were posted and were basically the entire lecture verbatim so it wasn't mandatory to be in class. It could get pretty boring. Grayson was a great TA and helped make the class fun, but was an extremely tough grader. I feel like I deserved an A but left with a B+ which was kind of an insult.

I must be the exception but Dr. Stonich is such a sweetheart. I had a family emergency and she suggested I turn in my final after spring break so I was able to do my best on it. Very knowledgeable and neat stories. Tests are fair, and section with Grayson is great.

Horrible attitude and policies regardless of how interesting the subject material. RUDE. Save yourself, DO NOT TAKE HER CLASS.

Quite possibly the worst class I've taken at UCSB. This woman takes 6 classes to get through one lecture and teaches you absolutely nothing. She bumbles through lecture like a fish out of water and it's painful to watch. Spare yourself the pain of this class!!

horrible horrible horrible. no matter how interested you are in her subjects, DONT TAKE HER CLASSES- she misinforms you, is rude and miserable and a terrible grader.

the worst class ever taken at UCSB....I learned A LOT! but her exams were impossible to do well in. The average score in the the class was a C-.... Recommend NOT taking her!
