Ouch! She wasn't THAT bad...her slides were posted and were basically the entire lecture verbatim so it wasn't mandatory to be in class. It could get pretty boring. Grayson was a great TA and helped make the class fun, but was an extremely tough grader. I feel like I deserved an A but left with a B+ which was kind of an insult.

I must be the exception but Dr. Stonich is such a sweetheart. I had a family emergency and she suggested I turn in my final after spring break so I was able to do my best on it. Very knowledgeable and neat stories. Tests are fair, and section with Grayson is great.

Horrible attitude and policies regardless of how interesting the subject material. RUDE. Save yourself, DO NOT TAKE HER CLASS.

Quite possibly the worst class I've taken at UCSB. This woman takes 6 classes to get through one lecture and teaches you absolutely nothing. She bumbles through lecture like a fish out of water and it's painful to watch. Spare yourself the pain of this class!!

horrible horrible horrible. no matter how interested you are in her subjects, DONT TAKE HER CLASSES- she misinforms you, is rude and miserable and a terrible grader.

the worst class ever taken at UCSB....I learned A LOT! but her exams were impossible to do well in. The average score in the the class was a C-.... Recommend NOT taking her!

I should have listened to the reviews the other students gave on this website. Literally everyone did horribly on the midterm, and she refused to curve it. She should realize, hey, what did i mess up on as a teacher? But she didn't.

Do not take a class with this professor! Her lectures will put you to sleep! She rambles and its hard to understand her. The midterm and final are really hard.

My God is she a boring professor! She just mumbles during her lectures, speaking in constant run-on sentences. And she goes off on pointless tangents and comments on irrelevant subjects. The midterm was hard; the final wasn't as bad. Overall, she makes the class uninteresting and doesn't teach you much. (The TA-Megan Carney wasn't much help either)

Her class is painful to attend. She rambles on and on and you have to try really hard to concentrate. Her voice is annoying and so are her endless stories. One of the least interesting classes I've taken at UCSB.

She redundant. Pay attention in class and attend all of them. Her midterm was hard because she never made clear what she wanted on there. She made everyone seem like they did good on the midterms then the grading option passed. Afterwards we realized mostly everyone for C's and C-'s. If u don't think like she does ur pretty much wrong!
