I love Prof. German, I'm midway through my first quarter at UCSB and her class is the only thing keeping me sane. There are a normal amount of assignments, almost entirely graded on whether you do them, not correctness. Her lectures are explanations of the slides and she gives lots of examples. Offers a textbook but you don't have to use it.

Lectures were engaging. Loved her whole class. no complaints. 10/10 Would recommend

the teacher wasnt anything special imo but the class was very easy. no textbook and powerpoints are posted online. i missed more than half the lectures and still got an A- in the class.if you understand the material and study the powerpoints youll be fine. 2 MT & a final but she drops first MT if you do better on the 2nd one. all multiple choice.

Very intresting lectures, gives videos to keep concentration, all notes online, really fun course, my best psyc course at UCSB so far - only thing is I was sure she was called Tamsin!

She is really nice and a good professor! She uses powerpoint, which she puts online. Tests are fairly easy if you've been to lecture and scanned the book.

This class was a breeze! All I had to do was listen and take notes (which were provided before class!!) This class can't get much easier, plus she has a great sense of humor and is very easy on the eyes. All in all, I learned a lot and it was actually (dare I say it) fun.

Great professor and makes class interesting. Loved everything about it but outside of class she wasn't as helpful as I would have liked.

British accent is hard to get used to? Are you serious? I thought she spoke more clearly and precisely than most American professors. You must be so used to ****en IV slang that you've forgotten what real English is supposed to sound like. So just to clear it up- there is no problem with her accent.

By far psy 105 has been my favorite class at UCSB. I loved everything about it, lectures were interesting, text easy to read, and the tests were super easy and straightforward. Elaine is awesome and everyone should take this class

Great professor! Very crystal clear and does not try to trick you. She makes sure you understand the material and is very patient. She is awesome, definately take her!

she is still young and seems new at teaching; also has british accent(takes few weeks to get used to). her note and test structure is very easy but i was disappointed in her lectures; she seemed to lose her point of concentration easily but an easy class to pass with an A or B.
