He's very nice and understanding. He reminds me of a petite grandfather-figure. Overall, his lectures may seem overwhelming but his midterm isn't. Midterm was open book and Final was take home.

Archuleta is a very good teacher. He explains very clearly and wants you to understnad. Always willing to help even though he may be hard to reach at times. Data Analysis is a somewhat difficult class though and there's a lot of work with the labs thrown in. Final is take home.

To be honest,I fell asleep almost every lecture and still did well.i found this class to be quite boring.Hes a nice guy, offers a good amount of extra credit.Holds review sessions before the final and midterm.Tests werent easy,but werent super hard either.Read the book and go over the slides.it helps a lot. You'll need to know specific events.Study

The first half of the quarter is a lot more information than the second half, so the midterm is not a piece of cake, however i found that the final was A LOT easier.There are many chances to improve your grade through the extra credit (do it!). Also, he tests you on info he's posted online in his slides. Overall, enjoyable and interesting class.

i don't think going to lecture was very helpful because he goes way too fast. however, all the slides are online and if you study the slides, do the homework, and go to discussion, you should be fine. i failed the midterm but ended up with a "B" because he allows you to double the final. he is also very helpful during office hours.

this guy really knows his stuff. i firmly believe that those who don't like them are either genuinely bored by the subject or didn't go to class. maybe both. the teacher is really funny, very open to questions in class and may be a little monotone at times, but if you go to class and keep up with the topics you should be just fine.
