I took him at Cal Poly Pomona and this man made history good, I hate history. His class is not about knowing specific dates, people, and places. He is about critical thinking. He assigns 99% online work and I only had to write one essay. Very nice guy and easy to approach for help. He made me realize history is more than memorization.

If you are the type of student that like a lot of reading every day, then take his class. Because there are a lot of reading and writing.

below comment pretty much says it all. class was easy, i came out of it with an A and writing is my weaker subject.

Takes this class way too seriously and assigns a bunch of useless assignments. One good thing is that he'll correct your essays before they're due so you can make them into A papers. He thinks he totally "gets" you when you meet with him, but hes usually way off. enforces mandatory attendance though, which can totally screw you.

I hated writing.. and he made me hate writing more..He gives A LOT of hw.. and he judges you when you come and talk to him...I don't like this guy at all!

He made me uncomfortabale in class because he put so much emphasis on people talking. What if people are not comfortable talking in class; but they do really good on everything else? Learn our names!!!!!!
