Due to an unexpected change in my plans, I will no longer be staying at Tropicana Gardens this fall and am looking for one student to officially take over my Fall 2026 lease. 🚨 I will personally contribute $600 toward the rent for the student who completes the official lease takeover. The contribution will be provided once the contract replacement has been completed and confirmed by Tropicana, and I am happy to document the arrangement in writing. The contract runs from September 20 to December 12, 2026. The main available options are a shared quad room or a small double room for $1,760 per month. Depending on availability and preference, a triple for $1,960 per month or a larger standard double for $2,130 per month may also be possible. The price includes 10 meals per week at the on-site café, all utilities, high-speed Wi-Fi, light housekeeping twice per month, and access to Tropicana’s on-site amenities and community events. The suites are fully furnished and include in-suite bathrooms and a shared living room with a couch, tables, a big-screen TV, a mini fridge, and a microwave. Bedrooms include a Twin XL bed and mattress, storage, and a study area. Tropicana Gardens is located next to UCSB in the Isla Vista area. The opportunity is open to students of any gender. The final room type and assignment are handled directly by Tropicana and are subject to availability. For SBCC students, placement at Tropicana Del Norte may also be possible. This is an official lease replacement, not an informal sublease. The application, approval, contract, rent payments, and final room assignment are handled directly through Tropicana.
