A truly terrible professor. No one goes to lecture because you can't understand what he's talking about anyway. Avoid at all cost.

Abysmal professor who needlessly complicates the material. Carries on endlessly about trivial bits and glosses over important practical points. Try to avoid this one, but the material for 3C is easy enough so that with a decent TA you should be OK. If you have a bad TA, definitely do CLAS.

Atzberger is unorganized and always has no idea what he is doing with the only piece of equipment in the room(overhead). He always goes over the length of the lecture, and is very unclear and confusing at times. Easy webwork homework due every 1-2 weeks, 2 midterms and 1 final.

very smart guy and clear instructor; he expects a lot from you. I had to work a lot to pass this class but ended up learning a lot!

worst professor I've ever had. Not friendly at all if you ask questions in office hour. Not helpful at all, no curve, failed majority of the class, inable to explain. Just dont take any class from him.
