Loved this class! I never missed a lecture and actually enjoyed them. Very clear and organized take good notes cause it helps for midterms and finals. He gives out a study guide for midterm and final so you don't have to read til then! Great professor!

Great teacher!!! If you have any interest in the civil war or just want to learn about it, take this class. His lectures are interesting and insightful, and you learn more about this topic than you would ever learn in High School. Readings were great and not the run of the mill stuff. A+++++

One of the most balanced professors I've had. His lectures are clear, organized, and informative. He does research, but he clearly values his teaching! He also has a great sense of humor and is very helpful and supportive if you see him in his office hours. And if you plan to take 4B, he's the one!

I forgot the title of this class and I saw that no one rated Majewski! I took his civil war and reconstruction class about 3 years ago when I was at UCSB. I LOVED his class! I became a history teacher because of him--he was such a great teacher!
