Bedard made Econ 1 very interesting. She explains topics incredibly well in class, has very minimal reading a night, and knows how to come up with lots of examples. That being said, the class has a serious curve. Three quizzes and a final make up most of the grade, so do well on those or you might fall down the curve
Very straightforward teaching style, but she often gets pretty important topics mixed up in lecture so make sure to read.
I got an A+ and A on Econ 1 and 2 and I have a C- currently in this class. Her slides are usually the most basic concepts and leaves the students to figure out the harder concepts. Every single tests there are 2-4 questions I have never seen before.
Great teacher, very helpful.
Awsome, excited, clear straightforward

Grading policy is horrible. its one of those classes where a certain percentage has to get an a, b, c, d, f no matter how much effort you think you put in and how well you did on the assignments, it doesn't matter. don't take this class with her.

So far, this class is pretty decent. All course resources (including slides) are online, which helps supplement lecture. The midterm was straightforward, as is her teaching style. The material can be interesting or dry, depending on how much thought you put into it. 150a is a great econ elective..
