I had Dr. Sears for both 108A and 133 and am sorry I didn't get to take med immuno with him. He was an excellent teacher!! I'm in grad school now at stanford and I am applying both some immuno and a LOT of the kinetics info to my research

This prof. should not longer teach 108A. Those lec's with those ppt slides put you to sleep. He's is by far one of theeee worse professors I've ever had. If you have to take him, be prepared for that final!

he also teaches MCDB 133. I don't know, I got a C in 108A and an A+ in 108B. I don't think he writes tests that are useful in anyway. Seriously reconsider taking MCDB 133, but take 108A, 110 is for slow kids.

He's a little better with his immunology class. Immunology is his primary area of interest so he's a little more enthusiastic. He's a harmless old man who's actually kind of funny every now and then.

very bitter, bitter professor. lecture and test are totally off! loong final too. avoid mcdb 108a at any cost, take mcdb 110 instead.
