Is a great prof. His lectures are interesting and engaging, but completely unnesessary. His exams are solely on the reading. If you don't do the reading homework, you will fail.
AWESOME! TAKE THIS CLASS! IT'S WONDERFUL! abnormal psychology, taught by one of the best.
He is a very interesting professor. He makes lecture interesting by involving the class. His tests are kinda hard though
One of the two best professors I've had at UCSB (along with Prof. Streichler).
Great lectures! Very funny and interesting.

The best professor in the department - if you're a major, you can't miss 103
he's the best professor at ucsb
A truly gifted teacher
Best class I've ever taken!
Very fun teacher.
A great professor- very entertaining and engaging. He also is very generous with his time and willing to help, even with things that aren't directly related to class.
interesting teacher
His portrayals of disorder are very interesting. Always keeps me interested on the topics of the day. He is a must not miss professor at UCSB.
awesome class
Love this guy!!! He's a genious! So much knowledge to gain from listening to him, by far one of UCSB's best!
Great teacher
Prof. Fridlund is one of the best at UCSB. He has a great sense of humor, but also advocates compassion for those who are suffering. His lectures are awesome, and he gives great explanations and examples.
His portayals of his patients are just accurate. Some of the disorders would be funny to those who hadn't come across them and didn't know the implications on someone in the class who knows or is someone who has one of the disorders.
hello, he's not making fun of patients!! he's does a great job portraying people with disorders. he even repeats that people with disorders shouldn't be made fun of. he's very respectful. the material covered is really interesting.
A great class, he keeps the class interesting and is a funny and entertaining professor.
good information, but i didnt approve of the way he portrayed people with disorders. making fun of someone isnt an effective way to get students to identify disorders in a compassionate way.
this guy knows his ****. he tries kinda hard to be funny but he's only trying to relate to the students so they will enjoy his class enough to actually go to it. he's clear and the class is not hard if you GO and STUDY!
act like an opinionated jerk and show up to class 2 or 3 times and this guy should love you.
