INT 174 - Physician Shadowing

Students--typically those in their final year at UCSB--will be matched to clinicians at local providers (Sansum Clinic, Cottage Hospital) and/or residency programs to perform approximately 40 hour preceptorship over the 10-week quarter. Depending on the provider, students may have the ability to observe multiple disciplines/fields of medicine, make rounds with attendants and residents, etc.

Prerequisites: Senior standing. Application/resume required (submit to UCSB Pre-Health Advising).
