CollegeThis class was a fair amount of work but honestly what I would expect from a college course. I loved the first half of this class and then got bored with the second half. Exams are super easy if you do the work. If you are looking for a super easy GE this probably isn't for you but if you are okay doing a little bit of work I would recommend it.
The professor himself is extremely nice and the TA's generally do a good job of responding, however for this class you really must do a decent chunk of reading and also be ready to get to work on presentations and homework. The group project was legitimately a joke as they give you 2 weeks to create a full on presentation to give in class.
Nothing has been graded and it's about to be week 6, the essay that's worth 25% of our grade is given to us with 4 weeks to work on it, yet week one has a midterm and week 2 has a big group project, so it's really only 2 weeks to work on it
While he seems nice and knowledgeable there are so many readings and random busy work. It would be fine except he doesn't upload the multiple long videos he wants you to watch each week until maybe Tuesday and doesn't "unlock" the next module until Monday night. This means there's no way to get ahead of all the readings and videos which is annoying
Not sure yet how this will go. Classroom is super far from IV, mandatory Iclicker & pop quizzes make up large portion of grade but room doesn't fit all the students so it's hard to read questions. So mornings are a huge drag. Slides posted are not useful since they have no words. A bad class if you learn by reading & not listening.
Super passionate and knowledgeable. That said, I took this for a random GE so I never went to class. A couple essays is essentially all you have to worry about to get a good grade
