Very clear grading from the beginning, you can choose not to do the final project and still pass, but should for an easy A. Super invested in his lectures and has easy responses (counting for attendance, but not mandatory to go). Can rent textbook for cheap at ucen or are given materials. Was an interesting class!

Very nice guy and very knowledgeable about Greek Mythology. Class is incredibly easy because he tells you exactly what you need to do to get whichever grade you want, and the bar isn't very high. He doesn't really have the respect or attention of people in class since this is an easy GE, which is kind of sad, but overall good class and professor.

Nice guy, easy class, and he is very clear on his grading. You can truly do the bare minimum to get an A but he is a real sweet professor so if you are inclined to put more effort, I'm sure it's rewarding

Clear and easy contract grading method is the only good thing about this class. It is an easy A if you do all your work on time. Attendance is "mandatory" but there's no incentive to go, so I started skipping by Week 3. He didn't like that people did this and stopped posting his slides. Nice guy tho.

Capettini broke grading down into "bundles," so it was really up to the students what grade they wanted, based on which "bundle" they chose (consisted of how many sections you needed to attend, quizzes you had to take, completion of the paper, etc.). No midterm, no final, just an overarching paper. Loved him, great class, very passionate.
