CollegeExtremely fair professor! He gave lots of practice problems to work through that resembled the final well. His lectures are clear, and he works through hard practice problems which helped me a lot. I did most of the practice problems to study for the final and the final was exactly what I expected.
Thank you Professor Esponda! This is a notoriously difficult class that thanks to the teacher and TA's was manageable and at times enjoyable. I had to work very hard in this class to receive the grade I did, however if you can understand and apply the concepts you will do just fine.
10A is one of the hardest courses at UCSB and Ignacio made it very manageable! The concepts are difficult and there is a lot of studying needed for this class, but the way the class is evaluated it very fair. The final has partial credit and Ignacio prepares you for what could be on it. Definitely would take a class with him again!!
ECON10A is a challenging class, and Ignacio was great at teaching the material and making difficult concepts easier to understand. The course page was very organized, which was really helpful. I found the study hours provided to be very helpful when I needed more help. Not an easy class, but Ignacio made it much better.
hes a chiller
Professor Esponda is one of the best professors in the Econ department!! He's a great lecturer and cares about students, friendly in OH. Grading is 45% final and 55% attendance/problem sets/quizzes, and you get most points just by showing up and completing work. Classes are super fun and engaging. Do need to study for the final. Highly recommend
