Leo is a super intriguing guy who is very electric during lecture. He does his best to make the material interesting and make the class engage, which helps for learning in his class. I like his grading system, although I wish there was more transparency on Canvas. Overall a good prof though who I would take again.

Had him for upper division course. Great amazing teacher. Makes class enjoyable and very educational. You speak about interesting topics and he creates an environment where you feel comfortable participating even if you are wrong/ not speaking perfect French, which ultimately improved my language speaking skills. I strongly strongly recommend.

Lorenzo is seriously the best. I've had him all year in french 1, 2 and 3 and I've decided to minor in French because of him. I'm sorry I won't have him next year but he teaches advanced courses after that. Take his classes!

He's seriously so nice and so funny and truly cares about his students. Lots of speaking in class but he makes it fun and OK to make mistakes. I hope I take french 2 with him next quarter. Highly recomment!

Class was graded off of 4 essays (2-page double spaced) and 1 oral presentation. He was a lenient grader, very passionate about what he teaches, and class is very interactive. Amazing professor that makes class interesting and engaging. Definitely recommend this class and him as a professor!

Very passionate and knowledgable about what he teaches, his teaching style is very unique and he encourages participation through creative activities, 4 papers and 1 oral presentation. I would def take a class with prof cabranes-grant again!
