CollegeI love Dr. Shay!!! She's very passionate about what she teaches & the class is pretty easy
Dr. Shay is an AMAZING PROFESSOR. She cares so much about the classes that she teaches. She doesn't give up on what she loves the most. Everything she says is very clear, and if you are stuck or have a question, ASK HER. She will help you get the correct answers. ALSO, if you attend her office hours, you won't regret it at all.
Amazing professor! She is always happy to help students learn deeper about the topics and encourages engagement with your peers. The lectures were always interesting and a taught me really cool information. You can tell she is very passionate about the subject and truly wants her students to succeed.
Take her if you get the chance!! She is so awesome and probably my favorite teacher so far at UCSB. So caring, passionate, and engaging. Her lectures are far from boring and she makes the class totally reasonable. I adore her and miss her already!!!
Work is very easy to complete and you will get a good score if you follow the criteria and engage thoughtfully.
Dr. Shay is the best professor I have ever had. She really is there for the students. Over all she makes it very clear that your mental and physical health come before school in her class. She wants you to thrive and grow in her class which you cannot do when your hierarchy of needs are not met. Exceptions in class are clear.
