CollegeOne of the nicest professors I have ever met. He is clearly passionate about the subject he teaches and wants to help his students learn and succeed.
He is soft spoken so you have to sit in the front row if you want to understand his lectures. He is not very approachable and sometimes even rude giving backhanded compliments on some of his feedback. Fortunately the content was interesting, so I still enjoyed the class. You should get an ok grade as long as you follow the directions.
Don't do it guys. Just pick a different class/prof. Unless you are OBSESSED with the topic he is teaching, you're in for a rude awakening. Not worth it. Topics are dense and tests are unrealistic for those not obsessed with the material. Essay grading? Ugh just pick a different class guys.
Grade is really dependent on ability to test take, you have to be able to read dichotomous keys but you can always have them on cheat sheets, curve really helps after tests. Otherwise very decent: hardly any homework, easy labs, just pay attention in lecture and it shouldn't be too hard if you practice what is assigned which isn't much at all.
very hard to hear him, sit in the front if u actually care. the class is pretty unorganized so it's kinda difficult to take notes. the labs are really easy though
Lectures were not mandatory and were confusing. Could never hear him. Sections were mandatory and important for grades.
