CollegeProfessor is extremely intelligent. She constructed famous Theories and has TedTalks on youtube and things like that. She is very nice and knows her field very well. However, she goes fast in lecture and doesn't make class all that exciting. Fairly straight forward tho, if u review the textbook and her lecture u should be straight.
I was really worried about taking this class for some reason but it was actually pretty easy! The lectures are pretty straightforward and she's great at public speaking. Be aware that attendance is required with weekly quizzes. She seems very passionate about teaching communication theories to students.
Prof. Dunbar was excellent in her lectures, although class is somewhat boring it was easy, so can't complain. There are three exams, one group presentation, and daily pop quizzes!
Prof. Dunbar was an excellent. The textbook reading was fairly easy and much is gone over in class, three exams, daily quizzes, sections are long and activity based but manageable, one group presentation.
She studies power and is a great example of someone who abuses her power, ironically. 12/10 would not recommend unless doing a case study. She made sure her husband took jobs of actual qualified lecturers as an obvious example of her use of nepotism. Socially awkward. Classroom decorum even worse.
Do not take a class by her. Lectures were dry and her explanations were not helpful. Her tests are worse. Tests had very specific questions about really unimportant things. Other people in the department don't seem to think highly of her as a lecturer. If this had been my first comm class, I would've left the major. Made me hate comm theory.
