CollegeThis was the worst class I have taken. Can be funny at times, but it doesn't make up for all the disorder and confusion. It's almost guaranteed that he loses track and forgets he is teaching a lecture. In my experience, my understanding and grade hinged off of the TA - exams were difficult and confusing. Participation is rewarded heavily. Good luck
Prof Grigorian is very passionate and lighthearted with the classes he teaches and will often explore interesting concepts (outside of usual class scope) or applications related to the course content. Curves classes based on class difficulty and is very lenient with grading. Make sure to attend lectures and PARTICIPATE ALOT, and youll get an A
I would say that he is the best professor that I have gotten in the pstat department. He cares so much for the students and he truly wants everyone to succeed and do as well as possible. He took the time to learn the names of the people who attend lecture regularly, and is super passionate about teaching. I'd def take him again. I loved Grigachad.
His course are difficult to follow, but overall he is a good and passionate professor. The TAs will guide you to solve the homework problems, and the tests are based on given practices as well as homework, so if you work hard and go to lectures regularly, it's not hard for you to get an A.
Great teacher, and good lecturer. It was a fun entertaining class and he truly just wants people to show up and participate. Will give extra credit on exams for attendance and even a free exam question for participation. Does attendance randomly when the room isn't full. Easy exams, it is very similar to the practice exam. He wants you to succeed.
Really kind professor. He's a fair grader, and make sure you attend class (even if you don't participate) so that he knows who you are. Clear grading criteria, lots of opportunities for extra points and reduce the weight of your midterm and final by doing optional projects
