Very passionate professor, but she is disorganized with lectures. Each slideshow was about 50-80 pages long. There is so much information thrown at you at once. The textbooks are supposed to explain things more in depth, however they do not really coincide with all lecture material. I recommend going to office hours and reviewing lectures!

She's a great lecturer and really wants students to succeed. If you have any homework questions make sure to go to office hours for clarification. If you're interested in SLP make sure to take her! This class was homework (50%) and attendance (20%) heavy with only a final (30%) - no midterm or paper. Very nice teacher!

She is really so kind and personable! Her bluntness and jokes always made me laugh. The only downside is that no one knows their grade until finals are graded (I am still unsure) and everything is curved. Class material is definitely challenging, but the workload is medium.

She cares about her students. The material might be hard but your grade reflects if you show you tried and put effort, so do that and you'll get an A. We got 3 quizzes,4 homework, and a final. It's curved and your grade on the quizzes/homework don't reflect your final grade. She cares your mental health, responds to emails fast, great professor.

Loved Katsika. Her lectures can be very confusing at times but she is so caring and empathetic. She is always available if you need help and you can tell she truly wants her students to succeed.

The class is definitely difficult and confusing at times, but Dr. Katsika really wants to help. She is also super accessible outside of class and answers emails pretty quickly. She is seriously so nice!
