nabi is kind, an enthusiastic speaker, knowledgeable, and good at answering questions. no homework ever. expected to read the textbook but i got an A without ever opening it. show up to lecture, take good lecture notes, go to office hours, and you'll do well. plus, she gave us all extra credit and weighted whichever exam we did better on higher!

I find it hard to pay close attention in lectures because the course material simply does not interest me...Nice lady but I believe this class could be far more interesting and engaging than what it is. Kinda painful.

She talks fast and only gives examples about vaping. She actually hates vaping so much, and I am not sure why. Also does not post slides, and if you try to take a picture she is going to single you out in front of the entire class. The course is so theory-based that it gets so boring. Online tests, but they are hard and have no study guide

Professor Nabi is my favorite professor at UCSB. She makes sure to give examples for all concepts which allows students to understand the material better. There was one midterm, one final and a small paper, which were all online.

The class is pretty interesting and she is passionate about the material. However, she isn't the most charismatic professor. Compared to the other upper division comm classes, this one is definitely more challenging. Grade is composed of 3 exams, a 2 page essay, and some participation. Exams can be difficult, but take good notes and read carefully.
