    This class may be my favorite course at UCSB. Caldwell is so much fun and so passionate about animation (especially stop-motion). Unfortunately, because she teaches history and theory in class, you are left a bit in the dark regarding your own production. Make sure to visit office hours or talk her after class as well as watch videos for help.

    involved more history than actual animation. Only thing that bothered me was that she did not really give much feedback on projects and would take off points for little stuff. like one time she took points off my thing bc the lighting was bad but i used the lighting provided in the animation room. quizzes hardest part of class, they focus on slides
