This course offers an exploration of foundational and contemporary topics in Political Communication theory and research. We consider questions about the nature of politics and communication as well as diving into key theoretical debates in the subfield. The course aims to provide a broad overview of this area of research, while at the same time foregrounding how politics emerges in interpersonal, intergroup, and organizational settings.

Prerequisites: Graduate standing; consent of department for students outside of COMM.
