LOVED HER!! She prepares you really well for the 2 exams (midterm and final). I never did the readings and got an easy A because her lectures were more than enough. She also records them, so if you miss class it's not the end of the world. Definitely take her!

Very passionate and great lecturer, really sparked my interest in dev psych. Explains content well, weekly discussion posts and retakable quizzes with 2 article summary assignments. 1 midterm + 1 noncumulative final. Stress free class with very interesting content, highly recommend.

Wertz is an amazing professor! Class has short weekly quizzes that are unlimited tries, weekly discussion posts, midterm, final, and 2 article summaries. All the assignments are very easy. Lectures are also recorded and uploaded. There is also lots of leeway with the assignments and she gives flexibility with how many you can miss with some of them

Professor Wertz is an absolutely amazing professor and I feel extremely lucky to have taken PSY 105 with her. She is very caring and goes out of her way to make her lectures engaging and interesting in the way she presents the material. I would 1000% take this course again! There is only one midterm and a final, very manageable!
